Fall florals...

I love sitting down the clients to discuss their wedding and what they envision for their perfect invitation. We go through my sample book, peruse through paper samples, and exchange ideas until we come up with a basic concept to start the design work. However, when my clients are in another state, or in another country as was the case with Ai and Christopher, email communication is an absolutely essential part of the process.

Ai and Christopher requested a washi paper that was rich with not only fall colors, but fall florals as well. As I searched for paper samples, I steered clear of the typical spring flowers like cherry blossoms, and found a gorgeous print seen below: 

We used the same washi paper accent on ceremony programs, the 5-panel reception program fans, and place cards.
