A fairytale wedding, complete with a beautiful horse and carriage... romantic colors of red and pink weaved through every element of this celebration...love and romance setting the entire theme of the day.

Melissa first came to me and requested program fans for her ceremony. She described her color palette and spoke excitedly about the romantic theme for her wedding. Red and pink were the colors, love and hearts were the inspiration, and infusing Chinese cultural elements into the design were all important factors that would contribute to the design.

What transpired after our first meeting was an entire collection of printed pieces to help bring her vision to life. Melissa challenged me as a designer to come up with new ideas while staying within the boundaries of her theme. Her positive energy was absolutely contagious and she inspired me to create one-of-a-kind pieces that went beyond the normal scope of my product line.

PROGRAM FANS
The program fans featured a die-cut heart shape with text printed on two separate layers of cardstock. Hand-painted wooden handles were accented with a red satin ribbon tie and embellished with two double happiness charms.

TOSS PETAL CONES
Pink vellum petal cones were adorned with a single red heart. A personalized message was included inside each cone.

RESERVED SEATING CARDS
Pink heart cards were used to reserve seating for family members. A number of the cards were personalized with guests’ names.

RECEPTION SIGN
A custom laminated insert printed on stationery provided by the hotel added just the right touch for this personalized sign.

PLACE CARDS AND TABLE CARDS
Melissa and Don had a creative method for naming their tables that required a different Chinese symbol for each table card. Accordingly, each guest’s place card was adorned with the matching symbol. Special place cards were created for the bride and groom that featured the phrase, “Today I married my best friend,” watermarked behind their names.

FAVOR TAGS AND CUSTOM FOOD/BEVERAGE STATION SIGNS
Pink heart-shaped tags decorated each favor box while custom signs were created for the bar and dessert table. 

SCRAPBOOK
Melissa wanted a fun and unique way to journal her fairytale wedding and all the special events that led up to the big day. Working together, we created a very special scrapbook complete with custom printed pages and lots of room to jot down her thoughts and memories!
